Upshur Corner is designed to seamlessly transition between different eras of architectural rowhomes found in the Petworth neighborhood. Three distinct buildings were designed to create a visual gradient from a more traditional to a more contemporary building. This composition is illustrated by the use of three masonry color ranges evolving from dark brown to light tan. Similarly, the roof shape progresses from a classic dormered window to a flat roof. This design carefully blends the surrounding rowhouses with the neighborhood character.
